P-E Corporate Services was originally established in Southern Africa in 1949 and has enjoyed a reputation for some 50 years as one of the country's most respected management consultancies. P-ECS has as its areas of business focus human resource management, and production engineering and productivity management.
P-ECS' established market position has been achieved as a leading provider of professional services. We have worked for more than 5000 Southern African and international organisations in most areas of management. Our clients include both public and private sector organisations and span every industry and every region.

P-ECS’ achievements include being awarded the P.M.R. (Professional Management Review) “Golden arrow” Award for 2000, (the last occasion on which this Award was made), as the top rated human resource consultancy in South Africa. This award is the result of a comprehensive survey of the human resource consulting industry carried out by Professional Management Review Magazine. Unprompted responses from a large sample of leading organisations are evaluated in terms of 10 relevant service criteria including professionalism, confidentiality, service excellence, quality of advice and recommendations, efficiency, attitude of staff, value for money. P-ECS’ overall rating was 4.56 on a 1-5 scale.

Offices are located in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Windhoek. Consulting projects are regularly staffed by joint teams. P-ECS accepts overall management quality responsibility for such projects.
Work Dynamics was established in Cape Town in 1993 by leading Cape based consultants in response to growing needs for professional management and human resource consulting services in the Western Cape. It offers a similar range of services to those offered by P-ECS and, in addition, has a strong capability in psychometric testing and competency-based assessment. A new subsidiary of this company was established in the Eastern Cape earlier this year.Work Dynamics Eastern Cape was established in 2003 as the result of continued growth in our remuneration and related businesses. The organisation specialises in psychometric testing and competency based assessments, organisational change and recruitment services. Offices have been established in Port Elizabeth.
Owen Adendorff Associates is today the largest and most prominent firm specialising in the areas of industrial relations and organisation development, and remuneration and reward strategy, in KwaZulu Natal. The firm has some 500 clients and is regarded as a national player in its chosen areas of specialisation. The firm also provides services in the areas of organisational change, participative management, social responsibility and performance management. The company’s offices are based in Durban.

Dr Christina Swart-Opperman is recognised as one of Namibia’s leading practitioners in the human resource field. She spent approximately three years with Price Waterhouse Coopers as a Partner heading that firm’s Human Resource Consulting Division. She has now reverted to heading her own consulting organisation. She was chosen as Namibia’s Business Woman of the Year in 2002. She also plays a prominent role in social responsibility initiatives having initiated and established an Aids Orphans’ Fund in 2002.
We enjoy a wide range of joint venture and alliance relationships with leading academics and consultancies around the world. These relationships ensure that our consultant staff remain technically up to date and “at the cutting edge” in each of the areas in which they consult. Certain consulting projects are carried out in conjunction with international partners where specific international data or experience is required to meet certain of the terms of reference.
