A Two-Day Training Programme for all Stores Personnel Involved in the Stores Operation
In most organisations the stores function has been the Cinderella. It exists. It is expected to work well, but does not get much attention unless it fails to deliver.
All too often it has been viewed as the place to “put to pasture” those employees who have outlived their usefulness elsewhere. Very few of these employees have any formal training in stores practices or even the basics of stores operations.
This course has been designed to provide stores personnel with the training needed to successfully operate a store. It is designed exclusively for persons requiring a basic understanding of how a store operates and why the various functions are important. It is run by persons who themselves have extensive stores experience.
What delegates will learn . . .
Delegates will gain a full understanding of the various functions performed in the store. Participants will be provided with the knowledge of both the how and the why of performing the various functions. This course serves as the foundation for our Basic Elements of Stores Management course.
