Managing the three factors that underlies efficient remuneration systems can be a daunting task. This course will address all three aspects internal, external and employee equity and will provide you with the knowledge to develop and maintain the discipline of remuneration management in your organisation.
What Delegates Will Learn
By the end of this course, participants will be able to develop performance based job profiles, understand how to grade these profiles using the Paterson Method of Job Evaluation, including Broadbanding. They will learn the techniques required to deal
with salaries that are anomalies at their levels, such as those that have reached the top of the pay scale, as well as how to plot scattergrams and develop integrated pay structures based on any job evaluation system. Finally we would provide the basis or an overview on Package Structuring.

- Determining internal equity using the Skills and Knowledge grading system, known as the Paterson Method of Job evaluation

- Implications of a Broadbanded Pay Structure
- Developing a Salary Structure using any Job Grading System
- How to calculate the Pay Ratios, Pay Slope, Pay Curve and Pay Ranges
- Moving from Basic Pay to Total Package Pay Structures
- Competence and Performance Based Reward approaches
