Root Cause Analysis (2 Days)

A 2-Day Programme that Teaches all the Techniques

Delegates learn about failure types and the different categories of failure causes. Using a standard methodology, they learn how to correctly define failures and then how to collect relevant information in their investigation. They then learn how to identify sequences of conditions / contributory causes that may have led to the failures. Delegates are then taught the full range of techniques that can be used to find and verify the root causes of the failures. This is followed by techniques for developing solutions to identify root causes as well as how best to monitor these solutions.

Throughout the programme the theory learnt is re-enforced through the use of case studies. Through the use of group work and these case studies each delegate also gets the opportunity to facilitate fellow group members in the application of the RCA methodology in a practical setting.

However, delegates will need to practice their new-found skills in their work place without too much delay. Practice makes perfect.
